Wright's been disappointing this pre-season, hasn't he? Quite quiet.

Kelly and Patterson have been good.

Simpson is a weird one, for me: I feel like he reads the game well, but then doesn't... follow through? He'll read the ball, intercept it, then dawdle and put himself under pressure. 

 

If he could learn to follow through he'd be a good option.

Itten has put himself about well.

That was a wonderful pass from Simpson, and a good run from Wright.

Poor team performance, with no real control on the game. 

 

There were a few good individual performances, though. 

 

Kelly, Patterson and Kamara were the pick of the bunch.

 

Itten, while having little service, has put himself about well.

After a couple of absolutely shocking passes, Katic has grown into the game on his return, intercepting and pressuring well.
