Fa1833 154 Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 (edited) Since the selling of a Man Utd programme which went for £7.5k, the game was abandoned due to the Munich air disaster, I was wondering can anyone on here share there programmes ? it doesn’t need to be an abandoned game just something that you think is an iconic part of our clubs history or a memorable moment you may still have along with all those other magazines gathering dust over the years. The Berlin wall was constructed in 1961 and the political implication was the Government refused Visas to the East Germans to visit Ibrox. A neutral venue had to be found and an agreement was reached with Malmo in Sweden. The game failed to take place on the Wednesday evening because Malmo was fog bound. Rescheduled for the next morning at 10am, Rangers ran out 4-1 winners and, 6-2 on aggregate. Due to the circumstances above, I believe the Rangers - Vorwarts Berlin program is akin to hens teeth? Thanks for that 26th are you an avid collector of programmes ? 99.9% of the time I always forget to grab one for whatever reason.
