  1. Getting rid of the name of the man who put us into this mess is a big thing.

since there is no other info and lots of people discussing it here, we can gauge people choice of the rename.

    easily led my arse

  2. The Rangers Fans Fighting Fund issued the following statement following their meeting with Charles Green today.

A RFFF spokesman:" we had a constructive meeting today. Mr Green is fully aware of the issues we are concerned with but we made good progress in discussions today.

"The main thing is getting the CVA approved. Once that happens fans will see that as a major milestone.

"There will be other milestones and if they are passed succesfully it will be beneficial for the Club and the fans."

not much info coming from the meeting.

  3. ITs totally irrelevant now mate ,one owned an accountancy firm , one was a Barclays business manager ( very high end ) and the other is very well known but its in the past , to be honest I wish I hadnt posted it as I was never in a position to name them and I do hate threads like these myself , I can only appologise to everyone

no worries mate,it's just that i'm a nosey bassa

  4. Yesterday will go down in history as the bloody Valentine's day in our once great club's history , when rallying calls were sounded all around the world and former owners made pathetic sound bites which amounted to the root of hee haw .

Yet in a small resteraunt in Bothwell the sound of champagne corks being popped and much laughter and back slapping was all that filled a room , and if I hadnt seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed it .

There are a group of gentlemen who are of the opinion that Whyte has just pulled off the greatest scam ever , and in doing so have saved Rangers a fortune as well as securing their long term future all for the price of £1 .

I cannot name names as I do not know them all personally and my reason for being there was purely coincedental however after talking to my firend who has no interest in football what so ever , but is a business man and who also has liquidated companies , he talked me through what they know to have happened , they are also of the belief that the large tax case is irrelevant because of yesterdays proceedings , only time will tell , but there were certainly plenty of happy Rangers fans in one part of the country .

    are these guys happy now?

  5. add to that ridiculous bookings for Whittaker and Lasley of Motherwell.

Whittaker got booked for having the audacity of putting his chest in the road of the motherwell player's head.

Lasley was booked for not committing a late tackle.

Brines was worse than Willie Young and that's saying something.

  6. Players salaries needed addressed as they made up 72% of the clubs output

Jesus that's a lot.this figure has to come down.

English League Division two have inposed an unofficial figure of no more than 60%,going down to 50% next year. it's the only league that is returning a profit.

Stewart Regan, the Scottish FA Chief Executive, reveals that the findings of the Independent Inquiry into Rangers FC have been heard at a Special Board Meeting at Hampden Park today and will now be referred to the Judicial Panel.

“I can confirm that the Scottish FA convened a Special Board Meeting at Hampden Park today to discuss the findings of the Independent Inquiry into Rangers FC, prepared by the Chair, The Right Honourable Lord William Nimmo Smith.

Principally, it is the belief of the Board, taking into account the prima facie evidence presented today, that Mr Craig Whyte is not considered to be a Fit and Proper person to hold a position within Association Football.

We will be writing to Mr Whyte in relation to those findings and shall seek a response within seven days.

The report submitted by Lord Nimmo Smith, having been considered fully by the Board, highlights a number of other potential rule breaches by the club and its owner. The report will now be used as evidence and forwarded to a Judicial Panel for consideration and determination as per the protocol.

As such, the report’s contents will not be published at this time. Nevertheless, I can confirm that the club is facing a charge of bringing the game into disrepute. Specifically, areas of potential breach to be considered by the Judicial Panel include:

    · Obligations and duties of members

    · Official return

    · Financial records

    · Division of receipts and payment of expenses(Scottish Cup)

I would like to clarify the situation relating to possible non-disclosure of payments to players, and in particular the Employee Benefit Trust. Having noted the Scottish Premier League’s intention to investigate this matter, the Board has decided to allow the SPL to complete this process, given our potential status as the appellate body. We retain our position until such time as the SPL’s investigation is concluded.

Finally, we have sent a letter to the Rangers administrators, Duff and Phelps, advising them that failure to pay monies owed to another member constitutes a breach of the Cup Competition Rules. Consequently, the club faces disciplinary action unless they make payments due to Dundee United from their recent William Hill Scottish Cup tie. A Notice of Complaint has been issued to that effect.”
