  1. Defence not bad right now, a midfield general is what we need, but none in our price range.

agree the defence is performing better just now but still feel a commanding centre half is a must going forward

  2. 12 month down the line I'd be hoping that we are a fair bit closer in terms of points to them and ahead of Aberdeen. and like Compo I'd hope at the very least we have a commanding centre half.

  3. Hatchet job is the way I read it.

The new signings haven't worked out yet!,Windass,Crooks & Rossiter are very talented young players who could develope into quality players but all have had injuries,is that the fault of the manager?,as for our CB situation MW did try and address the problems but failed to get them!,Barton might have worked out and Kranjcar was beginning to show progress!,Garner has yet to find his feet.We are not in a position to go out and buy the top quality players that everyone wants!.

There is no doubt in my mind we are heading in the right direction since MW came in,it's just not happening quick enough for some!,until we get some cash investment we will have to sign players on the cheap!.

    Agree with Ian

The new signings need time to settle and come to terms with playing for Rangers.

Obviously we'd all have loved them to click & gel together as quickly as last seasons side but it is still way too early to be writing them all off

  4. I think Cammy Bell is a decent shot stopper and would make a good back-up keeper if required,

Templeton frustrates live out of me can see he has talent but lacks the mental toughness to play for Rangers

  5. I didn't mean that Numan would be expensive mate

I just meant that i don't see current board looking at options other than the ones being linked already that are currently unemployed

  6. As much as I'd love to see an Arthur Numan type appointment i think we'll end up with a cheap option probably from list of names being tipped Butcher, McCall and Shiels and so on!

Hopefully it wouldnt be any of them though

As an outside option id consider Gary Locke felt he handled Hearts situation well and had a young team playing and fighting for each other which has benefitted Hearts this season

  7. For those asking "what happens if/when King takes over" I think it's quite simple. At a high level:

We will have someone who genuinely has the clubs best interests at heart

We will have someone who is in a position to provide the necessary finance

We will get the club stabalised in the first time in years

We will have a team appointed at Board level who will work hard to get the club going again

We will have finances to be able to improve the quaility of the football team

We will have a scouting network

We will have no issue with leaseback on our assests

We will have people in place who will not neglect Ibrox stadium and will ensure it is brought back up to the standards that it deserves

We will have an owner who will ensure our voice is heard in the Scottish game and wie will not be walked all over

    ....and so on.

I agree with this and we all know there won't be a quick fix to all our problems the appointment of a board of people all working and striving in right direction will be a huge step in right direction!

I believe Dave King knows who will be with him when he gains control and I think Mr King is happy to be in spotlight where others would prefer to remain in background for time being!

Like many others my only fear is what kind of position both on & off the park we'll be in by time the change happens

  8. I wasn't keen on the signing purely because i felt it would mean a route one type approach this season, but i've been impressed with the big mans attitude and performance level so far and hope he continues to shine!

Like a few others i'd like to see him and Clark given a run of games together
