  1. Europe this season was a disaster, simple as that. Its a massive part of our club and the fashion in which we went out this year was awful as a supporter.

However, as much as I am gutted we allowed them anywhere near 1st place, we had to take a dip in form at one point this year. Celtic had theirs earlier in the season and now we have (I hope) went through ours so it should be interesting battle.

There is no denying that so far I have been disappointed with Europe, allowing Celtic closing the gap and our some of signings to be questionable but I certainly do believe that we could still go on and win the double.

  2. I would get rid of a few mentioned if it allowed us to bring in players of equal or better quality than players in that current position.

Fleck and Healy IMO are just a waste of a wage. If Fleck cant get a game when both Naismith and Lafferty are injured then what hope does the boy have at all?

  3. I keep reading that its a good thing for Scottish football and could be the start of our game picking up. But if this was the case then surely the CB would have been quite keen to continue the sponsorship? Only time will tell if there is going to be a bigger sponsorship than we currently get.

A thought I had is to get the fans back into the stands, games should have a delay on them so no game is shown live until after a certain time. This would obviously only be able to happen if the SKY/ESPN deal wasn't going to happen.

  4. For a few years now, I have started to become increasingly bored watching CL games. I have no interest, especially past the group stages when some underdogs are knocked out.

I would really like to see the format change, possibly in the group stages to freshen it up.

    Thoughts anyone?

  5. A month ago i would have argued you to death about that, but it's not a bad shout mate. Play Fleck in the middle see if he's got the balls for it.

Maybe its about time he proves why he has been kept on for so long when other youngsters have been sent elsewhere.

  6. If we can get him on a relatively small fee, I dont see the issue in not paying Aberdeen some cash. To me, it seems that there is something wrong in the rules if a player can leave and still be linked back to a previous club.

  7. I met Jamie Ness in my hospitality suite on Saturday and during the Q&A session he stated that he was fit but lacked match time. He did also say that he's had a terrible time with injuries.

He has the same issues that I have with one leg longer than the other. This obviously means that the difference is being compensated for on the other leg, but he is meant to be wearing special boots to try and help that.

  8. The fact that he forced a move to us doesn't really bother me because he had the chance to move to a bigger, greater club and he took the chance by the balls to try and make sure it happened. I doubt it was about money either really.

There were actually quotes from Sasa Papac in some articles a couple of weeks ago basically saying that he and Jela are good friends and the impression he gets is that Jela isn't interested in jumping ship in a hurry.

I think he certainly makes sure he is heard and I just hope he shows the same bit of loyalty that we did by pursuing him for so long.

Yeah I remember the quotes by Papac and I certainly hope he is correct. I think Jela might want to play CL for us, if that ever happens again!

  9. The day trip for the Maribor away game was something like £465 !!

Yeah this was due to availability of Thomas Cook flights during the busier holiday period. That flight was cancelled due to lack of interest (I wonder why?!) and those who paid for the trip were put on the official team flight. Surely they would have learned their lesson from there that it is too expensive for fans?

£395 for the overnight package is just a bit too much for me to spend, especially so close to Christmas time. Although independent travel may be a better option for most people, despite the lack of direct flights to Hamburg.
