  1. THE WAIT is over and you can now check out the first official pictures of the fantastic new Rangers home kit.

The stylish new strip is launched on July 16 but a limited number of kits* are available to pre-order from Monday.

Fans pre-ordering will also receive a limited edition Kevin Thomson print.

The midfielder commented: "I really like the design of the new strip and I am sure it will be a hit with our supporters. I knew Rangers were a big club when I joined but when you see thousands of fans in Scotland and abroad wearing the kit with pride you realise how massive the club really is. Hopefully we can be as successful in the new strip as we were last season."

  2. I'd take Tonel for his Champions League experience. Brunt, although inconsistent, is an out and out left winger which we are crying out for. Know very little of Baha and Stock.

Dorman is a decent player in a position which we have more than adequate cover for.

Kevin Kyle would be pointless.. another sort of Stevie Thompson type for us and he's a complete cock into the bargain aswell.

Harewood to be avoided at all costs. Has never impressed me at all.

Dailly coming back would be fine by me. He's fine to have as cover and his fitness is well above par.

Bikey I would take but as someone said his mental attitude can be questioned.

Hutton I'd have back in a minute.

  3. Thanks for that info.

I completely disagree with us releasing 3 kits a year from an economic standpoint but still it's always nice to see what sort of designs we come up with.

On the JJB front, echoing what many have said here before, I walked into a JJB in Cumbernauld last week and saw a Celtic top and a Man Utd top before layign eyes on any Rangers material.

    Unreal.

  4. I know there's probably a thread on this so apologies for the clutter.

Any word on when our new kit will be unveiled? We must be the only team in Britain yet to reveal a kit for next season.

Almost July and we haven't yet attempted to leech more money from folk by releasing this yet?

Is there more going on with JJB than we know about or have I just missed something?

  5. Starts by highlighting the fact that everyone's away fort heir holidays but Thomson's still there working on getting fit.

Says it's been frustrating missing out on such big games in the run in of the season.

Goes on to say he's fairly confident given the fact that he'll be in over the summer of beign fit for the first day of pre-season training so it seems reports of a September return might of been off the mark.

Shows him running around and what-not, seems to be moving alright.

Funny thing is the lighting in the interview is a bit off and his hair looks greyer than Davie's.

  6. Was given this by a punter earlier.. name 9 Italian players past or present whom's name doesn't end in a vowel.

I stress I don't know the final answer to this.. I got as far as Zoff and Buffon and I'm stumped.

I'm trying not to search for it online so would urge others to do the same and see if they can think of any.

  7. I'll beat Chick Young to this one..

Mixu Paatelainen today announced his decision to leave his post as Manager of Hibernian Football Club.

Mixu said: ââ?¬Å?I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Manager of Hibernian Football Club. We have travelled a journey together and the Club will always hold a special place in my heart.

ââ?¬Å?However, there comes a time when a change of direction is best for both parties. I thank the Club and the players and coaching staff for their commitment and talent and I wish the supporters everything that they would wish themselves.ââ?¬Â

Club Chairman Rod Petrie said: ââ?¬Å?Mixu has been a whole-hearted and committed Manager and we are all sorry to see him go. However, we respect his decision. Mixu is held in the highest regard by everyone connected with the Club and we wish him well for the future.ââ?¬Â

    Next Celtic Manager?

  8. STEVEN DAVIS believes that his Northern Ireland teammate Chris Brunt would be an excellent summer signing for Rangers.

In the past week rumours in the press have suggested that Walter Smith has his eye on the West Bromwich Albion star who is a lifelong Gers fan.

The left-sided winger scored several goals at the end of the 2008/09 Premiership season and at 24 fits the criteria required by the Ibrox gaffer.

Davis knows Brunt well from his time on international duty and feels he has all the attributes to be a hit at Ibrox.

He said: "I don't want to say too much as a I don't know if there is any truth in it.

"But I have played with him at Northern Ireland and he is a good player.

"He has shown that this season with West Brom and although they have had a difficult year he has been one of their best performers."

Strange for this kind of thing to be on the official site.

  9. "No champagne. No champagne.

    Champagne for the women.

For the boys, for the men."

    "What do men drink"

    "Meeeelk"

    Brilliant video. :D

Still a joke with my mates to this day, that.

    That last video is legendary.
