  1. Green (and most likely Ally too) will have seen the prank phone call becoming such a public affair as an extremely easy way to cut short an expensive flop signing. As much as I feel sorry for Sandaza as I don't think that what he said was all that bad, I can't blame the club for seizing the opportunity to cut some dead wood. At the same time, I hope it lets the rest of the players know that their contracts aren't necessarily safe.

  2. I'd like to know what we do in training because tactics don't seem to be part of it. Absolutely woeful display today against an inferior side on paper.

Shiels & Little should have swapped positions as Little is wasted on the wing & I didn't even realise that's Shiels was playing until half time.

Gunning can elbow Black in the face & get a yellow, Naismith can come in slightly late & get a straight red? I would have walked all the players off the pitch.

lets be realistic here, we are lightyears years away form having any players who would attract any top league english clubs, or even championship clubs, if ever again.

Right now Wallace & Templeton could play in England.

3 years from now McKay, Aird & Macleod could potentially play in England.

We've always had haters, who cares, really? Our problems came from inside, not from the big bad enemy. All this crap is tedious, and a smokescreen for green and co. Sick of it.

When the haters have power, be that media or money, & we let them abuse that power it can hurt us whether we think we are invincible or not. Perhaps if Murray had been more pro-active in this area it wouldn't have been so easy for Scottish media to become so blatantly against Rangers.

I was going for sarcasm. Another complete waste of money. Sick to fucking death of people saying how they are so happy we no longer have a "dignified silence". Give me the old days any day of the week, instead of this constant stream of pish.

Why are paying people good money to write this dross, that you can read on any forum?

Calm down, roll over & just let all the Rangers haters walk all over you then.

This is not the way things work. Positions (and with them contracts) are given to players who perform well and have a chance of performing well in the future. Whether or not Alexander has that potential is really up for Coisty to decide isn't it. Personally I'd like to see him wear light blue a couple more years.

If that's not the way things work then how can we be angry with Naismith, McGregor et al?

Used to be yes, not at 34 after several years of being on the bench and now only playing in the Scottish fourth tier.

He still has 6-8 years left in him. He wasn't just a bench warmer, he played cup games. If he didn't we would have lost him.

He is far better than what Carrol was and he played in the PL.

  8. I find it baffling how quickly everyone is coming out & telling him to fuck off based on his current wage without hearing what it would take to sign him.

I'd say the fact he is nearing the end of his career gives us a better chance of him taking less money. In fact.. I think he has 49,406 reasons to take a paycut.

2012 was the year we proved to the world that we are more than a club. Every football player wants to play in front of sellout crowds.

  9. Am I missing something? Week in, week out I read disgruntled fans complaining we don't score enough goals.. here we have a proven goalscorer who will bang in several goals against even SPL teams in most games and yet we are telling him to fuck off?

So what if he left twice? The first time he was pushed, the second time he jumped before he was pushed.

As for his age, I agree younger players are the way forward but I think even the fittest kids would struggle to keep up with his workload. Surely that can only be a good thing for pushing our team?

  10. Hugh Grant talked about loving Rangers on a 'this is your life' style program, he also mentioned us on Jonathan Ross.

His dad is/was a Bluenose & said he has visited Ibrox many, many times. He then added that we are the only club in Scotland that will accept an Englishman cheering them on from the stands and the only club he knows of that sings Rule Britannia.

He also told how he used to fake a Scottish accent when he visited his grand father because he hated the 'english Bastard' accent.. and he had a gun.

  11. Perhaps the fact we are so far ahead is the reason? 4-4-2 wide definitely works for us but maybe he is just trying other tactics.

Against Queens park we had McKay running through the middle when he could have been out on a wing tearing it up.

We need a striker. Even an under-18 would do. We can sign under 18's, right?
