On the wage he is on (im guessing its a pretty penny), im sure we would get an adequate replacement no matter which league we're in next season. Theres a few who Id possibly want to keep to see what they can do in a new season with new management, but for the most part im quite ok with anyone over the age of 25 who is going or wants to go.

Obviously only a couple of games in since McCall came and promotion is still a blip on the horizon, but I cant see him being with us next season. Whoever is with us next season, MUST focus on the youth. I dont recollect ever seeing Luca play, but having seen Walsh recently, there is probably more than a couple of gems in our youth setup. Youth-wise, Murray Park has been incredibly un-utilised.

McCall was saying earlier that McCulloch is integral for the rest of the season so it will just be more of the same.

Integral in that he doesnt get a game for the rest of the season? Agreed!

Walsh is extremely promising, and I know he has faded a bit recently, but we could be on to a winner with Murdoch too if he shows improvement.

Whilst im disappointed McCulloch got a game, the fact that Walsh got a start tells me that during the training sessions he has had with these players, these were the best of a bad bunch. It just shows how much trouble we're in squad-wise.

We desperately need the NU loanee's returning from injuries or the youth players to start shining through in order to turn this around, because the current team is just not up to the task.

God help us if McCall gets the job full time we need better

I read somewhere it was £16k but surely not. I had thought nobody was on > £10k. It was never announced he was taking a pay cut though and he tells the media everything.

Its mental to me that anyone in this squad is on anything over £7-9k, nevermind £16/18k!

If we get promoted, the manager next season, whoever it may be, has an amazing opportunity to put themselves on the map in getting Rangers to a decent position in the league. The top flight is a fair bit poorer than it has been in recent times, but the Rangers manager position still carries some weight to it, not least because of the coverage of the freefall.

Now looks to me Newcastle are wanting rid off these players & using Rangers as their shop window to entice buyers.

It's a disgrace that these loanees were sent to us injured, havent even seen the majority of them yet. I suppose its a compliment to our medical staff over NU's.

you'll be waiting a while, then. The new board will be keeping their heads down and avoiding any conflict for some time yet. One can only hope that notes have been taken however and that a cold dish will be served when the time is right.

I feel that the time is now. A signal of intent that the club will not lie down right off the bat would be much better IMO.
