  1. His form right now is as good as any in Europe but he is getting way ahead of himself, Ronaldo has done it week in week out for about 8 years for Man Utd and Real Madrid. Ronaldo hit about 30 goals in his last season for Man Utd. Bale is on the right track but has to do it for longer than 20 games.

Id say he is a more direct player than Ronaldo.

    It's the premiership syndrome.

Joe Hart was the best keeper in the world at the start of the season ....................... What a howler that turned out to be, he's had a shocking season.

  2. If your are going to make a comparison then at least do it properly and don't pick one age group to suit your argument. Rangers best age groups are U17 & U18 and we are on a par with Celtic at these ages and games would be close. 6 to 2 isn't really a true reflection as two of Celtic's players from this age group are in the U19's squad, playing a year up.

The 17's squad is announced also and the stats are 7 to 3 the other way.

A proper picture is when you look at the latest squads selected from U16's through to U21's.

Rangers have had 13 selected, an average of 2.6 per squad. Celtic have had 28 an average of 5.6 per squad.

Another damning stat is that there have been 12 players selected who were previously at Rangers. So an average 2.4 either released or bought by another club. We got fees for Rhys McCabe, Dylan McGeough and Joe Thompson, the others were released.

A bit about each player, Fraser I'm sure you all know

Blair Currie - Pretty sure he is an 1994 so a year older, been at Rangers since a young age, Played a few 1st team games for Hamilton when on loan last season. Contact up at the end of the season, heard recently its not getting renewed.

Stuart Urquhart - Left sided footballing centre-back who came from Hamilton Accies, occasionally features in midfield. Was injured at the start of the season since coming back has got quite a few reserve games.

Andy Murdoch - Been at Rangers quite a few years and captained various age groups, anchorman in midfield and occasionaly played a right back.

Darren Ramsay - Another who has been at the club since a young age, played centre back at younger age groups. Now a fixture in midfield and an all round midfielder.

Charlie Telfer - Been at Rangers eight years since coming through the Rangers soccer schools, a skillful creative midfielder who can see a pass. Highly rated by Mark Wotte. I believe his contract is up at the end of the season.

Alot of the Q&A suggestions on here recently to CG were around our youth policy. I think yourself is better positioned than us all on here when it comes to the youths so if you could ask CG one question then what would it be?

  3. You cannot hope to have all class acts in all age groups at our club. We can strife to do that, but it is not like everyone will just come to us because we are who we are. At that age, do mind the geographics as well.

On a sidenote, who tells you that we have only youngsters capped at ONE level?

    Who said that?

We are only the most represented at ONE level. That being 18's. All the others we have very few.

  4. We should be the most represented club at every Scotland level, not ONE.

We are the biggest club in the country and have the best facilities in the country. Having only one or two in a squad of 20-25 is a failure IMO.

We have two this season that are now well known, and one of them we got as a fluke as Killie said he had a hip problem and released him.

We must strive to fix it and fast.

  5. ... I wouldn't mind Brian Laudrup extending his role as ambassador for the club too. A system with a - reasonable - head coach and some people giving him advice wouldn't go amiss either.

He's from the same genes as his brother ................ and look how he's doing at present.

  6. He gets a lot of stick over on RM, and some of the time merited for his blogs. But say all you want about leggo, the fact of the matter is, the guy is a bear and he is on our side.

And he deserves praise for standing up and actually printing those names.

  7. I saw an advert for this insantity and wondered about it. I tend to go HIIT with skipping so gave it a try with longer skips and shorter intervals, found i could only last a quarter of the overall time I usual do the opposite for. In theory its a nice idea but unless you are a machine its practically impossible

I'm finding it quite good for a couple of reasons mate:

    a) I don't take the end results seriously, that's not my goal (to have a six pack and biceps I can't brush my teeth with),

    b) it tells me what to do when to do it, not a case of 'will i go a run or do this or that'

    c) I take a break if i need to, I'm not trying to compete with those on screen I'm competing with myself.

    Hope this helps.
