  1. DK: Very surprised if Whyte still involved. Less so Green.

DK: No individual should be in control of Rangers. Fans need to be long term significant investors. DK happy to contribute 50%.

DK: Investment needed not only on football side but maintenance, infrastructure.

DK: Most important stakeholder in the club, the fans, have smallest voice. That is wrong.

  3. 331286-haris-vuckic-newcastle-united.jpgLoan deal: Haris Vuckic is just one of the players to make the move to Rangers.SNS Group

Rangers have signed five players from Newcastle United on loan until the end of the season.

Gael Bigirimana, Shane Ferguson, Kevin Mbabu, Remie Streete and Haris Vuckic have all made the move to the Ibrox club as Kenny McDowall looks to bolster his squad.

Vuckic has been at Newcastle United since 2009, spending time on loan at Cardiff City and Rotherham United. The Slovenian was regarded as one of European football’s brightest talents as a youngster, having trials at AC Milan before making the move to the Premier League.

The attacking midfielder has one international cap to his name - in a 1-1 friendly draw against Scotland in 2012 - having represented Slovenia at under 17, under 19 and under 21 levels. However, Vuckic has made just three appearances for Newcastle this season.

Bigirimana first broke through at Coventry City at 17-years-old, earning himself a move to Newcastle in 2012 for a fee believed to be in the region of between £500,000 and £1 million.

The England under 20 international has since made 13 appearances for the Magpies, scoring his first goal in a Premier League win over Wigan Athletic in December 2012.

Mbabu has only been at Newcastle United for a year, having signed for the North-East club in the last January transfer window. However, the Swiss defender has failed to make any real impression at St James’ Park and is yet to even make an appearance for the Magpies.

Streete is a 20-year-old defender who was highly rated by former Magpies boss Alan Pardew. However, the Newcastle United youth product suffered a number of injuries and has struggled to recover, making just two appearances in a loan spell with Port Vale that ended in November.

Northern Irishman Ferguson broke through at Newcastle in the 2012/13 season, becoming something of a first-team figure under Pardew. However, the left-back - who has earned 18 international caps - spent 18 months on loan at Birmingham City as he struggled for game time in the North-East.

  4. This is a fund for the wee lad that was bottled in the face at the Celtic Rangers game. As a celtic supporter I am ashamed of the actions of one of our own. I hope you join me in raising a wee bit of money for the lad.

I don't know your name yet, but hope you will grow up realising that there is good as well as evil in this world.

From me.....I'm sorry this has happened, and on behalf of Celtic supporters we stand ashamed and angry.

    All the best

  5. RANGERS fans’ favourite Nacho Novo has been banned from training at Murray Park.

Record Sport understands the former Ibrox striker fears he has been blackballed from the Auchenhowie HQ because of his public support for a fans’ group which wants to topple the current regime.

Novo has been using the facilities and training with the first-team squad since returning to Scotland in December, from MLS club Carolina RailHawks.

But the Spaniard - who played and scored at a packed Ibrox in a fund raiser for Fernado Ricksen on Sunday - was informed today by caretaker manager Kenny McDowall that he is now considered persona non grata.

It’s believed McDowall was acting on a edict from chief executive Derek Llambias and he fears it’s a retaliatory move for his decision to sign up with Rangers First, a supporters group in favour of fan ownership.
