Had an interesting email exchange with WH Ireland earlier, who were adamant both 'EGMs' took place as and when they were meant to today.

That's despite me speaking to Rangers shareholders who went to both hotels and couldn't find any sign of a meeting at either venue.

Oh, and despite me speaking to events staff from both hotels on the phone and being told Rangers did not hold meetings in their premises.

Even though the EGM is at Ibrox tomorrow, both former meeting venues had to open and adjourn a meeting at designated times today.

Not entirely sure why there is a need for that as such but those are the rules and the seemingly pointless formality is part of the process.

Anyway, basically WH Ireland are at it, which don't surprise many of you. No wonder we are where we are in this whole sorry saga.

Rangers International Football Club plc ("Rangers" the "Club" or the "Company") Extraordinary General Meeting Voting

The Board of Rangers notes the Press Release from David King issued today. Proxy voting closes tomorrow morning at 10am, and at the current time a significant number of shares have not yet voted; the outcome cannot therefore be determined with certainty. The position of the proxy voting will not be announced ahead of the meeting for regulatory reasons, and in any event shareholders have the right to revoke their proxy vote by attendance in person at the general meeting. The Directors believe that they have at all times sought to act in the best interests of Rangers for the benefit of its shareholders as a whole and refute in the strongest possible terms any suggestion that this is not the case and in particular any suggestion that they have given their personal interests priority over those of the Company.By remaining in post the directors wish to give the Company and possible incoming directors (should the Board change) the best possible chance of complying with the AIM rules and of avoiding the risk highlighted in the circular of 06 February 2015 of the Company's shares being suspended. There can be no guarantee of avoiding suspension. The Board have reached out to David King in recent days to seek a resolution in the best interests of the Club but regrettably this has not yet proved possible. If control of the board of directors of the Company changes as a result of the general meeting the directors pledge that they will do their utmost to work with the new board in the interests of Rangers Football Club, as they have done and continue to do. Good news from the Baillieston True Blues
I am pleased to announce that the Baillieston True Blues with help from local clubs: Garrowhil Rangers Supporters Club and the Joe Climson Memorial RSC, have in the last week or two donated £6838 to Buy Rangers / RST.

As well as this the three above named clubs have each purchased a life membership in Rangers First's Club 1872.

The Baillieston True Blues have also recently bought 34 shirts from the RST which we hope to proudly wear at Ibrox after the EGM.

The BTB would like to thank all its members and fellow rangers supporters who helped and contributed to raising this money which we hope will help to remove this current board and restore Rangers to greatness.

The BTB from an early stage have been supportive of the Sons of Struth, helping in any way we could. We would like to thank Craig Houston and all others who have helped the SOS.

With 6 days to go until the EGM we implore all fellow bears who can afford it, to invest in Buy Rangers or the Rangers First.

In the near future the BTB will be holding another fundraising event which we hope will be well supported.

Been advised more good news by 5pm tomorrow

I've been asked to put this up by a source who doesn't want to be named (some on here may also be party to this and understand why).

I can confirm the source to admin but here it is

Sandy will step down by close of business tomorrow and it is very likely the EGM will be conceded on Tuesday (no idea why Tuesday).

    I can't elaborate as that's all I have

"My name's David. I'm calling on behalf of Rangers Football Club"
Late last week my father got a call from, Alex - on behalf of Rangers International Plc.

Today I was lucky to get a gentleman called David call me.

I tried to let him go through his script but I had to interrupt.

Got the whole call this time.
