  1. well fellow supporters the seasons over ,and what a season lets hope the new stewardship will put the ship back on course and lead us to more leagues and cups old foggy is looking forward to the new season allready .

  2. now we have to wait and see the make up of the consortium that are going to run the rangers ,hear their plans for what lies ahead and their plans for future invesment ,a floatation to let the fans invest in the club ,right now there are lots of questions the only way we will get the vision of the new owners is to wait until this time next year and see if we are in a better condition .

  3. May 12 2012 Exclusive by John Ferguson & Chris Roberts

THE man in pole position to buy Rangers has had business dealings with a finance firm connected to Craig Whyte.

Charles Green struck a £30million “tax efficient investment” deal with Close Brothers in 2000 through his own financial services company, Kingsbridge Holdings.

Earlier this year we revealed Whyte sold £2m of future earnings from matchday catering at Ibrox to Close Brothers to pay lease of kitchen equipment.

Green, 59, has had a chequered commercial past, having been involved in dozens of businesses from

football to finance, property and pharmaceuticals and property. He was forced out his job as chief executive at Sheffield United by fans in 1998 after selling off star men.

Little is known about the rest of Green’s consortium but it is understood there are links to Singapore.

Green said: “None of the consortium or myself are doing this for personal gratification and that’s why it has been low key.”

    not another bounder

  4. i for one think the phoney war is drawing to a close ,this is how foggy thinks it will pan out ,whyte has stated that he will sell his shares on condition of a cva being put in place but as i understand things it would take six weeks to put this in place as money is running out this is a dead horse.

is there a deal in place for whytes floating charge.

the frightning outcome is liquidation and whyte benefiting from an asset sale duff and phelps have blocked the knights at every junction you have to ask ourselfs who are they working for themselves, rangers or someone else.

  5. i agree about not having to pay the extra money but i think it would be worth it to get the deal done get some stability in place and try to get the club running on an even keel ,sometimes you have to pay a bit over the odds this might be one of those times that will pay dividend .

  6. lets leave all the sniping at fellow fans until the club is on good solid foundations last week i heard a few fans of our rivals laughing at rangers fans for having a go at each other on fans forums ,and that shows that fans of our clubs opponents are sneeking on to rangers forums to gloat ,well let them gloat because we will be back stronger and wiser .
