Have to say though, that if we were bringing in Ferguson as a player/coach, then it would make the Hutton contract seem even more bizarre.

Barry was my hero growing up and is my favourite ever player but this would be one of our worst signings in recent history.

bawsburst he is not close to the board. He's never been right with any of his predictions.

Short memory you have - Miller has performed the lone striker role better than any other Scotsman I can think of in the past 20 years.

 

He gets in behind the defenders, he can hold the ball up, creates space for his teammates, retains possession, is unselfish.

 

He is a typical modern day "false 9".

This debate started about who is the best striker in Scotland just now, I don't see what relevance any of what you just said has?

Also a 'false 9' is a Messi type player. Miller is anything but a 'false' 9.

Don't see how saying Griffiths is better than Miller is fishing?

So Griffiths scored 23 goals in one season for Hibs out of 36 appearances,

 

Where as Miller scored 21 for Rangers in 18 appearances...

 

You cannot possibly say after one decent season for Hibs Griffiths is a better all round player than Miller

Better touch, more creative, better finisher and far better technically.

May is 21, Miller is 34.

May has a goal ratio of a goal every 1.8 games. Miller's is a goal every 3 games.

May scored 23 goals last year. Miller has scored 28 goals in 3 years.

May is far more talented.

I'll stick with Miller & Boyd thanks.
