why would a tim show concern for rangers? they are more inclined to want ally knighted, certainly give him as much time as he needs to fail time after time, believe every word green says and speak no criticism of rangers whatsoever.
stb, how else would you describe fans who pay fortunes to turn up week in week out and watch anti football? never mind falling for every word charlie says.
A new league set-up of 24 teams in two divisions.
A 14-game play-off system between the bottom four clubs of the top tier and the top four clubs of the second tier.
Binning the now-toxic SPL brand.
i like the look of this. poor gordon smith had loads of great ideas but because he was rangers minded he was hounded out.
its also a poor comparison in that the english game works, it is the best and biggest in the world. they dont need change nor do they need rangers or anyone else coming in.
the sfl were never going to dictate to the spl. it is deluded to think so nor will there be any radical change to the game up here. the authorities have it how they like it. rangers out and celtic dominating.
green is trying too hard to sell these shares. that tells me interest is not as big as he wanted or hoped. this share issue may well be another flop. people with the kind of money green wants are rarely duped by such poor sales pitches.
interesting question. would he not be automatically entitled to a dividend if he was on the board anyway? to answer your question, for me it would depend just how wise or daft that say is like, how ambitious is king? does he want the club to go where i want it to? do we share the same expectations?
annual turnover is a decent guide minus tv money. all money any given club can generate over a financial year less tv money would be the best guide. as tv money is so diverse the world over, it is not a fair reflection of a clubs size. just look at epl's bottom 10 clubs. smallish clubs with 50 million in tv money added to their turnover every year for simply participating in that countries league.
