  1. Then today he faces his first press conference with the manager sat right by his side the whole time. Loving everything out the club right now. God it's been a while!

For any who missed it he did a foreign interview the day he signed and let slip he was starting this Sunday. During today's press conference Gerrard mumbled something that felt like " remember and don't say your playing!" ???

  2. Windass, John, o'halleron, waghorn, bates(dev fee), and possible small sell on for garner.

All in looking at £4m brought in with add ons still to come.

    Spent

    £3m - £3.5 Goldson

    £1.5m katic

    £1.5m barna

    £600k-£800k Murphy

Plus assorted loan and signing on fees

Maybe a net spend of <£4m!!!

32 player turnaround that is impressive

    Thanks, I missed that.

August is a busy, difficult and crucial month.

It's a month when we could probably do with a 25 man sqaud now (potentially 9 games in 31 days).

A successful August will see regular midweek fixtures throughout the first half of the season.

However, we still have significant hurdles to get over, including Kilmarnock (A) in the League Cup.

One major signing I would like to see made before those mentioned

    COUILLABLY!!

    get him signed!!

We now have to seriously consider the possibility of 6 extra high profile midweek games when finalising the squad,...which would be a wonderful problem to have. One that might allow the budget to stretch a little bit extra in the final week of the window.

As it stands, it's only a possibility.

Gerrard did say if euro qualification was on the cards we would up the desired squad to 25.

To think our net spend is less than £4m!! Hopefully more cash to spend

Funny how Celtic and their media pals seem to be able to talk up valuations to a much higher level. I imagine the derisory Ipswich offer is at least partly driven by an awareness of the widespread debate among the Rangers support about his worth. It's the message we seem determined to send out about some of our players.

The valuations are nonsense. Why do you believe them? Anyone who thinks we sold garner for £1.5m but accepted £200k for waghorn needs to ask themselves do you really think our millionaire owners are that easy with their money and frankly that stupid or are you being lied too.

Gerrard today has rubished the £1.3m offer for windass.

If we're calling for a sell-on clause in any sale of Josh Windass, does that mean we accept he has more ability than we've been able to exploit and that Ipswich might make him a more valuable player when we can't?

Simply means players from the English championship are valued higher than those from Scottish leagues.

Who are we after aside from Lafferty like?

There will be no more leaks or idiots claiming to be ITK spreading names.

The manager and Allan have spoken very clearly on our transfer dealings on RTV. That's all we need to know and to be honest they have been far more open and Frank than I thought they would ever be.

The plan has always been two for every position first, with a squad of about 23. That will increase by another two if we qualify for the group stages. As said by both Allan and Gerrard.

Once two for each position is secured we will use the later window to secure players of quality if and when they become available. Also from both their mouths.

Our transfer dealings so far have been very good with quality brought in at great prices. I think they deserve our trust and belief they can spot our deficiencies and move to sort them.

  8. Membership scheme is a decent way to get money into the club and link up all the social media stuff. Should get the guy who does the rangers archive on Facebook to supply video clips that could be sent directly to your phone or to create a library as part of it.  Find his videos better than RTV's archive for short clips.

It's lot to do about professional advice and decisions that are made based on that.

We appear to be picking up their legal tab and that I think, reflects on what has happened as a whole.

Would assume part of our plan would be to wear them down, keeping them in court. How many sports firms do you think or sports teams will join with them going forward when they see court case after court case from their current "partners"?

Sports direct are no mugs, they clearly don't play by the rules. Anyone thinking a fight against them will be easy, quick and cheap is just plain wrong.

Watching through the press and from a distance it is impossible to understand the full goings on and to understand certain aspects without knowing the full picture.
