The new signings haven't worked out yet!,Windass,Crooks & Rossiter are very talented young players who could develope into quality players but all have had injuries,is that the fault of the manager?,as for our CB situation MW did try and address the problems but failed to get them!,Barton might have worked out and Kranjcar was beginning to show progress!,Garner has yet to find his feet.We are not in a position to go out and buy the top quality players that everyone wants!.

There is no doubt in my mind we are heading in the right direction since MW came in,it's just not happening quick enough for some!,until we get some cash investment we will have to sign players on the cheap!.

Sutton just needs enough rope and eventually the muppet will hang himself, it must be embarrassing for his family to see a once professional footballer reduced to acting like a lego eater to keep himself in a job as a pundit.

Would love to give them a going over thats the only way to shut them up.

I think it's safe to say that Mr Barton is tuned to the moon and the sooner he departs and the club and fans move on and focus on the task at hand the better.

He undermined the manager with the interview on Talk Sport and I believe he has now paid the price it's a shame but I think he has to go now.

You would think after all these years of both teams having toilets trashed they would place either stewards or plod in the toilets to make sure no damage is done. And also you would have thought that any vile banners/effigy's would be removed by the stewards and police as soon as they are shown it's not rocket science.

Granted we would all have liked to see the start of the season arrive with Rangers hitting teams for 4-5 goals and announcing our arrival back in the top tier every bear would have loved that. But the thing is I believe we are going to get better and we will see soon the managers preferred starting line up and a fully fit squad to choose from.

SBS is a bear - just not the most optimistic of us.

Robertson's the best left back. Wallace doesn't deserve a place and McKay is lucky based on this season's form.

And 6 goals last season (which is a pathetic tally) suggests he isn't good enough for the English Championship. Don't understand this transfer at all. We're obviously skint and need to be developing players for profits ASAP - just like the tims do. I would have been spending whatever resources we do have on younger players - preferably from abroad - who we can develop and make substantial profits on from Premiership clubs. Our aim should be to sign players for £1 or 2m and punt them on for £10m to the Premiership. We have virtually no chance whatsoever of ever making a profit here.

 

From reading PNE forums there seemed to be a bit of a consensus that he struggled in the Championship and that he's a League 1 level player. Now he might still rattle them home up here given how poor the standard is, but I sincerely hope we haven't blown the best part of £2 million on a third tier level English player.

Thats easier said than done the club is still stabilising in many respects we need to walk before we can run.

I think Senderos will be a good addition to our squad if it happens as would have been Lescott but I wish all parties would have sung from the same hymn sheet regarding statements when the deal was off its just give the media a free reign to make up shit.

IMO,we have played 1 good game since last year(SC semi v celtic)its hardly pressing the panic button.Its commenting on whats going on in front of us.

Fair enough but I am gonna give them until the end of the season because thats when I'll judge MW&DW and his squad.

I think a lot of the comments about our defence are valid and although after one game there will be the usual rush to press the panic button by some but I am sure the players/management know that it isn't good enough.

Another few years in the lower league will maybe change what little minds they have.

Thats what these nuggets need this is the last throw of the dice for them before budgets get reduced and key/promising players look for an exit.

I think when this fella is on the ball the fans will be on their feet.............looks a good bit of business.

In the age of smartphones, videoclips, online-photos on twitter, facebook et al? These reports apparently all come from some neolithic folk who for some reason don't have such basic armaments of your modern day football supporter and warrior of rightness and virtue.

Bingo that's the first thing any sane person would have done was to use their phone and video the alleged objects being thrown and the lack of action from the police sounds like another made up smear story.
