Well, the way played the first few months essentially steamrolled most of our opponents. By now they have adapted or try to adapt to our style and with varying success. When you look at the facts, the way we conceded goals has not changed much, more or less individual errors. The opposition tries to play to that, while alos attempting to stopping us play. Our folk need to up their play even more, which is not as easy as it sounds. Running against brick walls for 90 mins with the oposition out to get you rather than "play football" is straining in itself. Not least if it happens again and again and again. But Warburton and Co. see that too and will address it. You can only do so much with the players at hand, we'll have to wait and see what January brings. I would assume that King & Co. are determined that we reach the top flight this season.
On the other hand, it is hardly a given that Hibs will continue with their "rich vein of form" from now on till the end of the campaign. If someone snatches Cummings from their books in January, things look rather different indeed.
Personally I think it will come down to the head to head games against hibs...

The magic hat (sorry zappa) has been a god send. The difference from the last few seasons is night and day but theres still a good few on here questioning his decisions. We keep saying we need a centre forward in January but after only 13 league games we've scored 39 goals. We really are a hard bunch of teddy bears to please...

Have you watched any Rangers matches, this season, that he has played in?
Have you watched any matches that he's played in? Don't insult me. If you read other threads on here you would have read what I said about Miller. Miller has played in six league games and has been on the winning side six times. It's obvious your doubting the magic hat for playing him and giving him a year extension. Miller has been injured and still gets slaughtered. Next time if you go to a game or watch it on the telly watch the work Miller does off the ball...

Based on what?
On his experience of course...

Not my view of the game, defensively we were dreadful, Liam Kelly had a double save in the first half as well as their goals, we had one serious shot on target when it was 1-0. Then a couple of decent efforts towards the end of the second half.
It was a poor performance and a poor result against a team that had one once and only scored 8 goals in their previous 11 games.
In saying that I believe we now at least have a plan on how to improve young players, under the previous HOY this game would have been cancelled and 17 year olds would be lucky to get game time. Yesterdays three half time subs were two sixteen year olds and a 15 year old.
Having watched the highlights I totally agree with you elf. Kelly was at fault for the first goal and the other three our defending was woeful.

Scoring in an under 19s game is no indication Rab? Young hardie is scoring regular and knows the way to goal. Our answer for a centre forward could be already at the club and we don't know it just like a young Derek Johnstone 45 years ago...

I see Ryan hardie scored the first goal for Scotland's under19s in a 4-0 win against the republic with Ross mccrorie netting the second. It's time hardie got more match time he could be the answer to our 'waggy needs help' situation..

Big davie weir would luv this thread lol..

My pal was at the game and believe it or not he said we were the best team and county scored with their only four shots on target in the 1st half...

Sensible words from Alex but unlikely to be heeded by the kangaroo court...
Frankie I don't get involved in all the boardroom matters I'm only interested on the playing field but what gets me is, if we win the first two cases, how come we lost the third with the exact same facts?

Shock horror Miller signs a year extension. Personally I think Miller will hush his doubters...

I don't mind Miller he was one of the few players who really wanted it last season. Especially in the play offs. I like we are going with youth but I think we need to keep the odd old head. Miller fits that bill.
Correct dynamo, fans crying out for experience and when we keep one there's an out cry. We would have went into meltdown if it read Nicky Clark signs a new contract...

I hope you are correct regarding him been used less and less. No problem with Miller helping out with the U20's but as a player it's a backward step.
It's only a year I don't see a problem...

Plus his team went thru the league undefeared..
Defeated.....

The football under McCoist was some of the worst I've seen from a Rangers team, and to make things worse, it was in the lowest Leagues in which we have played.
Plus his team went thru the league undefeared..

Theres no doubt miller has all the experience and would be my first choice this season to partner the horn but what gets me is he doesn't stay in the centre forward position when the horn drifts out to the right...

http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/kenny-signs-new-deal/
RANGERS are today delighted to announce striker Kenny Miller has signed a one year extension to his current contract.
In what is now Miller’s third spell as a Gers player, he has proved to be an integral part of Mark Warburton’s squad this season both on the field and off it.
Scoring five goals in 13 appearances so far in this campaign, Miller has also taken on a coaching role with Rangers’ under-20s team, working under their manager Ian Durrant.
This remains a playing contract however given how impressed manager Mark Warburton has been with the Scotland national team ‘Roll of Honour’ member.
Over his spells with Rangers, Miller has made 201 appearances and has hit 81 goals in the process.
With Rangers hopeful of a return to the top flight next season, Miller will possibly have the chance to add to his excellent record against old foes Celtic, against whom he has scored seven goals in 13 games played.
Despite the importance of those goals however, arguably his greatest moment in Light Blue came in the 2010 League Cup Final against St Mirren.
With Rangers down to nine men with Danny Wilson and Kevin Thomson having been sent off, Miller incredibly nodded in a late winner to sensationally bring the trophy back to Ibrox.
Although he has been battling a slight injury in the last few weeks, Miller looks set to return to the Rangers squad for Saturday’s trip to Livingston.

What they seem to be saying is they were due 35 days holiday per year. In the year up to the end of their contracts they had not received any holidays so feel they're due those days in pay.
They were on a permanent holiday..

It was murder last season trying to run a bus, for every text that said, "I'm not giving those bastards another penny" there were two saying "I'm not going to watch that pish".
I know it was forlan and I'm not slagging anyone not going but I've been a bear 60 years bro and just go to watch my team...

My mate used his season ticket about twice last season due mainly to the quality of the football.
I used my season ticket every game cos I'm a ranger thru and thru just like back in the late 60s and early 70s and early 80s. We lit newspapers at home games to keep us warm but still went to every game...
