At one point during the game Diamonde was the only Rangers player in the midfield surrounded by  2 banks of 4 Benfica players ahead and behind him and he looked, quite rightly, terrified and of course lost the ball.  He was isolated as the only man standing on a number of occasions last night and I certainly wouldn't blame him for struggling at times.

Saw that and said to my son that he had either given up or was overwhelmed by the ocassion.A big difference from his previous experiences no doubt.

He saw an other sellik goon kick a Hertz man on the head, a reckless, and dangerous piece of play, and penalised it with a yellow card. He is asked by VAR to review the offence, and is embarrassed into giving a red.

Only thing about this, according to Brenda, cheatin Beaton called the red surprising to say.

Apparently, we are waiting on a specialist's report on the Cortes injury.

If this injury is a medium to long term job, I hope Clement reintroduces young Lovelace back into the fold. The ability to step inside and unleash an accurate attempt on goal will be necessary in the coming weeks.

That bloody pitch again as watching it was not result of a tackle.

Why not have a proper reserve league were you can field four players over twenty three and the rest down to fourteen year olds would also help players coming back from injury and could be played on a Saturday against the same opponents as the first team .

Used to have that and I went to many games when the first team were playing away.

Saw Andy Penman make his debut in one,was there when Foinaven won the national and the noise of trannies keeping up with first league games is well remembered.
