That's because ALL the pundits on it were Celtic fans

What is and has been happening for a while now is that Celtic get the lions share of attention and the rest are allocated time according to wee provincial club status,...unless of course there is something negative to focus upon and then the spotlight gets shone towards Ibrox.

The disparity is partly down to a lack of direct communication between the club and PQ (eg. post match interview with manager) but it I'd estimate that explains only around 20-25% of the difference.

I do find it difficult to understand how Rangers, who are probably the most supported team in Scotland, fails to have any representatives when it comes to ex-players, fans, representatives on BBC Scotland. Just another statistical anomaly we live with in this country.

I am not buying the offside decision. every linesman in the world would have given it. If we are basing their bias on that decision then it is a very thin case.

But it was a decision that was clearly wrong? If it was the other way round, and Aberdeen had scored, do you think it would have received the lack of interest.

They're not the only bizarre group gathering around the Israel situation. Ever heard of gays for Palestine? People who if they were actually in Palestine would have to move to Israel or be thrown off a high building at best.

No way! I need to google that.

Update - can’t actually see if that exists or if it’s a hoax.

Interesting to note that they did it today and not on Monday following the Celtic game.

As least we know we'll get a fair shout from SNP minister Humza " I drink in republican slophouses" Yousaf, SNP Minister Joseph Martin Fitzpatrick and Assistant Chief Constable Bernard "suspended for more than 3 months" Higgins. 9_9

What’s the “3 months” thing about?

edit - googled it, very strange.

Good question. I actually felt Sportscene and even Michael Stewart were refreshingly balanced for a change last night so it's annoying but predictable that the website has stuck with the anti-Rangers party line.

Stewart said he didn’t think it was a sending off as he hit him with his lower arm rather than his elbow.

again, that fud doesn’t know the rules. It makes no difference if it was his elbow or his lower arm.

Courage taken, she launches into what she has been primed to say. Rangers supporters are frightening, they are terrifying, they are the epitome of British nationalism, and finishes with, they are a disease.

Did someone actually say that on TV recently?

Well maybe we should look try and reach out to other supporter associations, at least then we can say we tried and no one was interested, its got to be better than the perpetual cycle of complaining that we do now.  Also i wouldnt just stop at spfl, i would engage all the teams in the divisions below, after all didnt we make a few friends on the way up?

Fair enough point. I would genuinely be pleased if we tried that but in the current climate I can’t see it being successful.

I dunno if its corrupt, but its certainly lazy, self-centred and likes to follow the path of least resistance.

If enough teams got to gether and said lefts sort out the ref problem, we coud.

if we wanted a bigger league (say 16-18) to allow for space to develope passing football with scottish players, we could.

if we wanted to sort out the sfa, we could.

all of these things needs us to work together(all teams & fans).

But do the fans want to get together to sort things out? They clearly don’t.

The blind hatred of Rangers seems to have allowed all sorts to slip when it comes to the smaller teams fans, not really grasping that not only are Rangers being screwed, Celtic are being given advantage.

I don't think it is corrupt.  Inept would be a better description.

I would like to think the same, but when the ineptitude constantly negatively / positively affects a certain side, then it is either extremely bad / fortunate luck or there is no other description than corruption.

Honestly? I think Scottish football, like much else in Scottish life, is deeply corrupt and is sustained only by the naivety of people who rush to claim it is merely incompetence. Frankly, I trust very little in Scotland at face value and nothing is rushing forward to change my mind, whether in football, politics or whatever

This certainly isn't the "best wee country in the world". It's cesspit of bigotry and division ... from Holyrood to Hampden ... and probably has been since the 19th century invasion split communities and started the cultural substitution that's been ongoing ever since. We're burdened by a truly awful neighbour and it's not England.

I would genuinely love to disagree with you. But I find so many things that seem blatantly obvious and reeking of corruption - and you’re right; it is in daily life too.

  11. With all the strange decisions by the compliance officer, the unusual non-uniform decisions from referees, the strange silence in the press on certain issues and the inexplicable behaviour of the footballing authorities towards certain issues, do you think that Scottish Football has been corrupted?

I think Stewart is on shaky grounds by saying that kids can’t handle “stress”. “Stress” is one of the main killers of men under 30.

It is also quite hypocritical when he says they can’t handle criticism when he is one of the worst for handling any criticism.

You'd think you couldn't make this up. But it's sadly real.

If he had a shred of journalistic integrity Tom English would be lying away at night agonising about how to square the multiple contradictions swirling about inside his head. PQ journalistic integrity is as non existent as Celtic's Japanese travel adventures.

He’s just spreading his paid propaganda internationally. Extra Big Pete Bonus is in the mail.
