Another example of footballs hypocrisy

Recommended Posts

In an industry awash with money for the cartels and chosen view, the english game spits in the eye of its greatest heroes, a direct mirror of how society via its government treats all of our heroes, when they are of no further use.

The english football authorities should hang their heads in collective shame, some days I wonder where this wonderful game is heading, including ours, and I don't like what I see.

He is the 6th or 7th member of that squad forced to sell their medals for the equivelant of a week of Toure's wages , truly shocking

It's probably Toure that keeps buying them!

I honestly think if I was a footballer and had the money I'd give these guys a week or 2 of my wages if it meant they didn't have to sell their medals.

OR

I'd just buy them all :giruy:

Imagine how much a collection of 6 or 7 winners medals from a world cup would be worth... :spl:

There's plenty people his age deserving of the title 'hero' who don't have two beans to rub together and no incredibly valuable (money-wise) medals to sell either. He should cherish his memories and his place in history while considering himself lucky to have collectors items worth so much money.
