Headline:

 

Snow showers becoming heavy and widespread by Sunday.

This Evening and Tonight:

 

Mainly dry and cold with clear spells this evening but still some snow showers towards the coast. Snow showers will become heavy and more widespread overnight as easterly winds strengthen. Significant accumulations expected. Minimum temperature -5 �°C.

Sunday:

 

Mostly cloudy with heavy snow showers, these frequent across Tayside and Fife. Moderate or heavy snowfalls with drifting on the strong easterly winds. Occasional bright spells, mainly in Angus. Maximum temperature 2 �°C.

I'm up in Dingwall just now,and although it's a fair bit away from Dundee it's very bad snow and ice,I think they would be as well calling the game off now,especially as it's anearly k-off, unless DUTD are just going to start the game and then call it off at half time:disgusted:

You're right Ian, they should be calling it off now before people start travelling early tomorrow. Today's Dundee Utd U19's game against Aberdeen at St.Andrews was called off yesterday due to a frozen pitch and St.Andrews is only a few miles from Dundee as the crow flies. That gives a good impression of the weather issues in that area and with the forecast being so bad it's a shambles to allow fans to start travelling in the morning.

I'm in 2minds about a postponement. It would give the players a rest but it would be better to go up there and win to go 5 points ahead I think

 

Start of the week we were all thinking it would be good to postpone and hopefully play when we had Boogie, Papac and maybe Jela back.

 

Now I agree, 5 points clear would be a much more advantageous scenario.
