Yeah, I'd imagine the injury wasn't serious enough for him to travel while the Romanian team doctor will have to assess his fitness on arrival and decide on his availability. Club's don't have much of a say which is pretty poor given the investment they put into the players compared to the international sides. On Sunday Naismith was struggling with his hip again, presumably the same hip problem he had last season and yet he's cleared fit for the Scotland team on Monday?? Total shambles! Lafferty has struggled big time with his fitness since being thrown back into the squad after injury and yet he'll probably play for NI half injured again like he did before. NI are reporting that he has a calf injury and is a doubt but are still hopeful that he can get fit enough to play on Friday night. It was just patching over a crack that left Robben out for three-quarters of the next season at Bayren Munich. They were livid and claimed the Dutch for compensation.
