Recommended Posts

So,if ever you really feel the need to call someone a fenian bastard, you'd be better off just stabbing them as you'll get less time in jail?

It is all good lads.

This Bill is like a "Dummies guide to".

Next instalments....

1. Rugby related sectarian bill

2. Golf related sectarian bill

3. Workplace related sectarian bill

4. Supermarket related sectarian bill

5. School related sectarian bill

And on and on and on.

The whole point being that they have chosen a very NARROW arena in which sectarian behaviour is seen.

What they SHOULD be doing is concentrating on dealing with the REAL issue of sectarianism. They are merely paying lip service to the issue with this utter farce of a Bill.

of course you know I wouldn't stab someone, but according to this you will get more time for calling someone an offensive name as opposed to stabbing someone

And more time in the slammer for threatening such an act of violence on twitter or facebook than actually committing the same act of violence in the street.

The people making up these laws are clearly not well and require psychiatric evaluation.
