Leggat - MORE ANTI BLUE KNIGHTS SPIN FROM DUFF AND PHELPS

Recommended Posts

JUST as sure as Sunday follows Saturday, the Duff and Phelps Two, Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, send out a message on Saturday to be carried in the Sunday papers, which seems calculated to do damage to Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights.

Clark and Whitehouse, remember, are employed by a company whose senior partner, David Grier, was part of the stitch up which saw conman Craig Whyte buy Rangers.

And they did not disappoint again at the weekend when they tried to put a positive spin on the splendid Daily Record expose which unmasked the Chicago Mob as plunderers whose only reason for wanting to buy Rangers is to plunge the club into the turmoil of liquidation. And then sell Rangers on for a fast buck.

Maybe even to Craig Whyte, whose business buddy, Andrew Ellis has been linked with the Chicago Mob

So what did the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse do to try and get out of that â??un?

Simple! They claimed that even if Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights, who have Walter Smithâ??s backing, win the fight for control, Rangers MAY still go into liquidation.

Well, of course that is the case. And nobody, not Paul Murray or any of the True Blue Knights, would deny the possibility exists. For it is a fact after the damage in inflicted on the club by Craig Whyte after David Murray sold out Rangers to him.

But it exists only as a last resort, if things get so bad that there is NO ALTERNATIVE. Only then would Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights look at liquidation.

Unlike the Chicago Mob who would make it the first thing they did after they got their hands on Rangers. And as for anyone else who is trying to land Rangers?

They have all been so secretive â?? something which the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse have colluded with â?? that it is reasonable to assume that putting Rangers into liquidation is top of their list of things to do if they win control of Rangers.

Leaving Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights as the only bidders who are intent on doing everything in their power to ensure that Rangers do NOT going into liquidation.

But the conflicting messages which come out of the Craig Whyte appointed administrators,, Duff and Phelps, where Whyteâ??s pal and business associate David Grier is a senior partner, continue to be mixed messages.

Contradictions abound. And the question of why, on their first day after Rangers moved into their charge as administrators, February 15th, they did not instigate court proceedings to try and get the dodgy deal which saw the ownership of Rangers pass from David Murray to Craig Whyte, declared null and void, has never been answered by Duff and Phelps.

Had they done so six weeks ago then it is reasonable to assume the situation would by now, as we move into April, have been resolved, or be close to being resolved. As it is, Whyte still lays claim to being the legal owner of 85.3per cent of Rangersâ?? shares.

So, just what have the Duff and Phelps Two, Clark and Whitehouse, been up to when they could have been fighting conman Whyte in the courts?

Apart from running up a bill for well over £1M and rising all the time, to be trousered by Craig Whyteâ??s pal and business associate, and Duff and Phelps senior partner, David Grier?

Plus appearing to rubbish Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights and consistently feeding the Sunday newspapers pap â?? though cleverly worded pap it has to be admitted â?? about the intentions of the Walter Smith backed Paul Murray and the True Blue Knights.

For unlike the Chicago Mob, and any other anonymous bidders who Duff and Phelps collude with to hide their identity, liquidation is NOT at the top of the True Blue Knightsâ?? agenda.

It is way down at the bottom as the very LAST resort if ALL else fails to get Rangers back on track.

The Duff and Phelps Two, Paul Clark and David Whitehouse, can use whatever weasel words they choseâ?¦.but they cannot fool most of the people most of the time.
