KYLE LAFFERTY can quit Rangers for a knockdown £500,000 in the summer.

SunSport understands the fit-again striker negotiated a similar cut-price agreement with the club's administrators as team-mates Stevie Naismith and Allan McGregor in return for accepting a 75 per cent wage cut.

Gers paid £3.25million for Lafferty in 2008, but a host of English clubs, including Derek McInnes' Bristol City, are now eyeing a bargain deal for the 24-year-old ex-Burnley star.

Prior to going into administration Gers valued the Scotland pair at £7m and £6m respectively, while Lafferty had a £1.5m tag on his head.
