No Rangers no big money deal simple as that.

.....and when Rangers return to the SPL the money on offer from the likes of Sky TV would be peanuts due to the total non coverage from previous years - the league up here would simply be all forgotten about.

And the mhanks say they can survive without us?

The tv deal with Sky would be scrapped or at least vastly reduced. A conservative estimate of say 30,000 bears would cancel their sky subscriptions.

Would the SPL then allow the mhanks to negotiate their own tv deal in exchange for a percentage.

Pretty forthright stuff from McCoist there.

May not be the best manager we have ever had but there is no doubting he is one of us and is hurting every bit as much as we are. And, it would seem, he is pretty enraged too.

I personally am at the point we should just drop down to the 3rd division and let the SPL & SFA have what they want, an SPL without Rangers. Lets see how long it takes for the penny to drop that we subsidise Scottish football. It would be nigh on the death knell for Scottish football.

The deluded muppets still believe if we go away forever or to Div 3 they will get a move to England.
