BK press conference

Recommended Posts

Just found this informative post over on FF:

The administration was carried out on a voluntary basis, Whyte was the only person responsible for placing Rangers into administration, it was done to suit Whyte, is Whyte not the major investor in Rangers with his 85% holding

BK and TBK have put forward differing proposals to Duff & Duffer, each offer trying to get near what Duff & Duffer wanted, the latest offer by BK and TBK matched exactly the original criteria laid down by Duff & Duffer, they had no viable reason to throw this latest offer out

The vast majority of Rangers Bears never chased away any trucking tycoon, the reason he pulled out was, when he finally got a proper look at the books as preferred bidder, he then decided he wasn't going to throw away his kids inheritance, his words, all the organisations that represent Bears never said one word against Miller, there may have been a very few, but Miller using Bears was just an excuse

As the administration IS voluntary, NOT A COURT APPOINTED ADMINISTRATION, they don't have to report to anyone on how they are dealing with Rangers finances, they only have to report they have truned down offers and give THEIR reason why, if they tell the court that the offers put forward are no good, the court will accept their findings no matter what

Duff & Duffer do NOT have a statutory duty, again as the administration was entered into voluntary, they don't tell much when they do say something in their press confrences, and in all honesty, they appear to have an agenda of liquidation, and nothing appears to be able to move them from this agenda

Green is TRYING to put forward a financial package, he has nothing actually in place at this time, it would appear at this time, he has only put forward a proposal in the hope he can raise the finances, and for some reason, Duff & Duffer are willing to play Russian Roulette with Rangers future, and thats something I and a lot of other Bears are rightly angry at

Green is also a hatchet man, he doesn't care about anything or anybody, and, he'll cut Rangers way down past the bone, if relegation happens, so be it, and he'll sell us on for any profit he can get, he wont invest in the team, and he'll sell the better players for whatever he can get for them, all he wants to do is make money, ask Sheffield Utd fans what he did to their club

Rangers fans do NOT want to chase anyone away, but, if there IS a decent offer on the table that matches the criteria laid down by Duff & Duffer, which they wanted in the first place, then why turn it down, something does not add up, lies are being told, and they appear to be getting told by Duff & Duffer, and Rangers supporters are seeing through this

David Hinchliffe, Brian Kennedy's advisor, has been a partner at Walker Morris since 1996 and advises on all aspects of insolvency with particular emphasis on company rescue often through arrangement, liquidations and administrations.

He has particular expertise in football club restructuring and has advised on a number of re-financing of football clubs and was the lead advisor on a number of football administrations including Portsmouth City, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Bradford City (twice), Huddersfield Town, Luton Town, York City and Bournemouth AFC. In terms of football finance David is one of the leading advisors in this country if not in Europe.

So if David Hinchliffe says Kennedy and TBK deal would be workable, and the financial package offered would save Rangers football club and their history, and Duff & Duffer have thrown it out so they can gamble with Rangers future, then I am worried.

So this admin is not court-appointed and the admins essentially can do as they please? News to me and somewhat worrying a read.

On a sidenote, D&P are still pursuing Collier Bristow for 25m, while Ticketus apparently wants 27m from Whyte now. If this goes through, what would that mean for Rangers?

I think if it went down newco route the 25m would go to the creditors but if it's a CVA surely Rangers would be due the money?

So TBK bid was made up of very little of there money, did they really think they could take over the club based on future euro income? No wonder they had the fans sites and groups doing there bidding before they even bid, they knew they had to as there bid is a joke.

If anybody wants to see how the internet works as a propaganda tool just have a wee look at ff today, it's shameful and disgusting how alot of our support is going on.

If Rangers get a new owner and we start next season as normal, what happens with the fans?

How do we go on after this?

IMHO, FF is currently infested with quite a number of shyte-stirrers and Hooped Horrors. In general though, the patience of the support is wearing thinner by the day and emotions running pretty high. And this will not cease as long as we are out of admin and on some safe standing.

You do wonder, in all of this, that people like AJ or Walter keep rather quiet when it comes to getting wealthy people involved. Not that we know what they do or whether they can actually do something. But still ...
