ANOTHER Administrators' Statement

Recommended Posts

Interesting that they had the time to make this statement and the one earlier regarding legal action against the SFA, yet they didn't manage to make a statement to say that the CVA proposal had been sent out to creditors.

All about "targets", IMHO. Why would they tell the whole wide world about sending letters to the creditors, which is essentially something internal. The API announcement was in relation to certain press releases and more mumbo-jumbo by the BBC et al.

Why do we need to be told if the CVA offer has been sent out, can we not just leave that matter to the admin and let them get on with it without a running commentary?

They've given us a running commentary for over 3 months now, so I don't think they're likely to stop.

David Whitehouse said at the initial press conference with Green 2 weeks ago that their planned schedule was to send out the CVA proposal on the 21st May which would mean a result would be known on 6th June. Today is the 26th May. Let's assume (for talking sake) that they send out the CVA proposal on Monday which will be the 28th, then that's another full week delay added on.

Why wouldn't we want to keep tracks on what's going on and highlight the fact that there's such a big deviation from their initial schedule? A full week is a long time when the clock is ticking on whether or not the club survives is it not?

We were told that the club's cash runs out at the end of this month. This further delay means that it could be 2 weeks into June before we even get the result of the CVA proposal. Cutting it a bit tight don't you think?

They will be obliged to release a public statement when the CVA proposals are sent out because every member of the club staff is entitled to know it has been done and some of those staff could be out of town, on holiday etc.
