Raises one more question though......what if it went in our favour! The current problems could have been avoided. OK we would have been skint for a few years with the ticktus deal but, whyte would have sold out and our name would not be so tarnished.

 

spot on. as things stand there is no need for us to be in admin nevermind liquidation.

I appreciate that the big tax case, for us, is over but, will the findings ever be released?

 

The BTC involves the whole Murray Group and not just Rangers, so the result is still important to HMRC

HMRC statement says we no have no obligations to them. On Sky Sports News 5 mins ago.

 

As Calgacus said, even if its over with regards to Rangers, the murray group might still have some questions to answer

rumour always was when HMRC chose Rangers they were wrong testcase for EBT investigation & they wouldn't admit it. HMRC have poor record in these EBT cases so far ( not won any).

IMO today by refusing CVA allowed them to drop BTC and save their own face from another defeat. Just my theory
