I know this, but i'm assuming if he's committed to staying then he's willing to adjust his wages for the lower division.

Even if he takes a cut, he will most likely still be on much better wages than he would get at another Scottish club like Motherwell, which is the sort of level where he would have ended up.

i wouldn't pin to much hope on footballers taking pay cuts because the circumstances of their club change. but we shall soon see I suppose.
