All 30 SFL clubs have a vote, and a simple majority of 16 will secure a place in the SFL.

However, the proposal leaked yesterday gives the SFL Board the authority to negotiate an 'agreement' with the SFA/SFL which will be put to the member clubs at their meeting next Friday.

So it's quite possible that a dirty deal will be concluded that will not require a specific vote on entry to the 1st Division but, rather, simply require a majority to vote in favour of the deal done with the SFA/SPL which will automatically agree Div 1 entry for Rangers.

The onus will then be on Charles Green to accept or reject, but rejecting will not automatically mean that we have the choice to enter at Division 3.

There may also be a major issue if scantions are applied. All in all, the waters are decidedly murky.
