Wallace signs 5 year deal

Recommended Posts

While the contract isn't worth the paper it's written on these days when it comes to him actually staying, at least we will get some money for him if he moves on.

Anyway less of the cynical rubbish and well done young man for showing the commitment to the club that so many couldn't be bothered with.

He already had a contract till 2016, only a one year extension, so doubt it's based on making sure we don't lose him for nothing.

I imagine it's more a pay rise as a thank you for staying.

Surely to hell it's not a pay rise. He will already be on 12-15k + I'd imagine.

Nobody should be getting above £7k a week unless they're a world beater, until we return to our former level.

Even £7k is paying way, way above everyone else and it's that sort of pay structure that led us into this position.

I'm convinced it'll be a pay rise, really no need to sign a new deal with 4 years left on the original if the wage terms are the same.

Didn't know that, so it's a pay rise well if he managed to get one with still 4 years on his contract well done him I say.
