Not that I'm disagreeing with you, especially when we haven't done preseason. Now I'm going to contradict myself and say that they do require a day off for their bodies to recover especially if they done any strength and conditioning training yesterday on top of a high intensity session. Midweek "day off" makes sense, not least since they will be playing during the weekends or are on stand-by. A few people are off for the internationals and the youngsters were having a game on Monday eve. I know next to nothing about the training schedules of our people, nor those of "top teams in Europe", but my local Bundesliga side was not exactly over-working their players either. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
