When has the wage been a fair assessment of a players ability, we have paid some right donkeys a lot of money over the years.

 

which is why i said balance. no doubt we have to do things better and more clever. that doesnt necessarily mean paying pennies for players and leaving us unable to compete at a level our fans and club deserve.

is that not why the wage cap being talked about is a cap on the overall wage budget of 33% of total turnover, as opposed to a cap of say £5k per player.....

 

we dont know for sure mate. but if this new regime start losing out on commons and ledleys again because they refuse to match celtics ambition then it will be a backwards step. if we want to be the biggest and best, we have to act like it. like i said to govanal, i agree with him we wasted too much but those were mistakes, we have to minimise mistakes or at best eradicate them completely. we have to do things better. murray had a chef and catalogue model running our club for almost a decade, its little wonder we ended up financially f*cked.
