Charlie Adam's Dad dies

Recommended Posts

As someone who has just lost a close family member I know how the family feel, my thoughts are with them.

Sorry for your loss too GA. Never a good time but this time of year is awful.

I lost my Dad in December, 1997 - and whist time does heal it still takes some of the edge off the festive season, especially when it is someone who loved this time of year and who never got the chance to meet any of his grandkids. My Dad passed just 7 months prior to my wedding.

And, whilst I am at it, my heart goes out to everyone in the Newtown, Connecticut community too - the tragic slaying of 14 young kids and 6 teachers is heart-wrenching at this time of year. I still am shaking my head at what happened there.
