Premier League seeks ISP site block in piracy swoop

Recommended Posts

This is not good....

The Premier League is to request a court order forcing internet service providers to block a popular football streaming website before the next season.

The League wants ISPs to cut off access to FirstRow1.eu, which operates from Sweden.

The BBC understands none of the ISPs plan to challenge the court order.

If successful, the action will be the first sport-related site block in the UK.

Yeah ... ever tried to watch a Scottish game, or one of the EPL et al outside the UK legally?

Yep, I have my Gers annual subscription online. Stream is usually of very high quality.... In streaming terms anyway

Most of the Bears I know have a problem with the "Annual - $299" fee though. Not that they are unwilling to pay, they simply can't afford it.
