Same goes for Butcher and Stevens really actually. My team wouldn't be too far away from that. der Berliner 3,286 Posted July 27, 2013 Share Posted July 27, 2013 It's a generation thing, and even that's a stretch, as squads revolve much quicker than your human generation (what, 30 years?) last. I for one like to keep fond memories of many players, with none of them actually heading a specific queue for a slot in the team. I would even be hesitant to rank Goram ahead of Klos ... and some of their deputies weren't that bad either, be it McGregor, Snelders or Waterreus. De Boer was a deep lying forward that played in a wide right support role for us just off the main striker. He wasn't a central midfielder.
