How many months was it for? could that money have been used by Ashley as a down payment on the loan he is giving us? Under what pretext could this money be withheld, considering the cashflow of Rangers ? Ashley doesn't need a pretext, he can do what he likes regarding financial decisions pertaining to the Retail Contract GreenCo gave him. It seems as clear as day to me. Why give someone money they're due, when you can withhold it and then lend them a similar among of cash, securing far greater power and control in the process. We need to stop putting our hopes and faith in others.
