Billy Davies lined up for Kilmarnock talks

Recommended Posts

Billy Davies has been targeted by Kilmarnock as Gary Locke’s replacement - and is expected to hold talks with the Rugby Park side this week.

If the former Motherwell boss is appointed, his first match in charge could be Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie with Rangers, the club he served as a midfielder in the early 1980s.

Locke stood down as Killie manager on Saturday night after his team lost 1-0 at home to Hamilton Accies, one of their main rivals in an intense battle to avoid the relegation play-off zone.
