I don't think we can count that as fair to be honest. Putting lipstick on an arsehole doesn't mean it is not an arsehole. He has absolutely no obligation to report on it at all. And given it happened just yesterday he has the time to report on it in print too. Your rush to judgement may be ill-conceived and only time will tell.
