Presumably he must have some kind of achievements under his belt before we hired him. Pretty sure he was in a job titled director of football at Southampton but made the tea for the real guy in charge of the football operations. Hence why he left to come here as it was a step up in role. im still on the fence with him. On one hand he isn’t a scout so won’t be involved in the technical identity and scouting of players, although ultimately responsible for that activity. And our recruitment hasn’t really been good enough. On the other hand he done well to get so much for the likes of Patterson and Bassey.
