Scott7 5,151 Posted March 21 Share Posted March 21 (edited) Another racer, Dr Roger Bannister. I remember hearing on BBC the live commentary on his sub-4 minute mile. The race took place in May 1954 at Oxford in the late afternoon. Bannister worked in the morning at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington as usual then took the train from London to Oxford.
