Beasley is frustrating.

Several times last season he showed that he's an intelligent player in that he makes good runs from deep and knows when to tuck in when required. When he returned from injury to make the team for the Scottish Cup final, he showed then how useful he can be in terms of creativity and width. He can always score goals as well.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, his confidence seems to have gone completely and while I wouldn't write his Rangers career off yet, it's extremely difficult to justify picking him in the first XI.

Beasley looks a decent player when playing for the USA, he seems to take most of the free kicks and corners and does well. I've also seen him going on runs that I rarely see him do for us but maybe it's just the opposition he's playing against. For us he has shown some glimpses of what he can do but certainly not enough. We have brought in Lafferty and Edu on 5 year contracts and they have potential but we need/needed players who will go right into the first team with the money we spent on those 2......

I have big hopes for Naismith when he returns for us maybe Dec or Jan hopefully, he might give us something different we don't have just now........
