I went for Cifu, thought he covered so much ground and his best game for us. Lundstram was good but thought there was a few to many stray passes, also thought Lawrence had a good game.
Easier maybe t name those who played poorly. Tav, Barasic, Sima I thought were awful.

Come to the party late on this one but it would have been Robertson for me for longevity over Numan.
How Robertson barely got Scotland caps was just baffling. He was light years better than Tosh Mckinlay.
Simple, Roxburgh and Brown. Also stopped picking Gough and why I lost interst in Scotland.

Gary Stevens for me, Hutton was also brilliant for us though.

Lorenzo Amoruso
There have been no other decent centre backs.
🤣🤣🤣
He was nowhere near coming even close to Gough or Butcher

Loved that

Butcher and Gough for me.
Forgot all about yesterday as I wasn't in the office I would have gone with Robertson though.

Not even a close 3rd I'm afraid.

Can that not be applied to McGregor, too?
it's not close, to be fair: Goram is well out in front of McGregor on this thread.
Possibly, maybe.
To me Goram is head and shoulders above the rest though (bar Woods), only Woods comes close IMO. Woods was an exceptional keeper and should have had many more England caps had it not been for the blind loyalty to Shilton.

So what is it that makes Goram stand out?
He was a match winner, not just any match, but the big matches. Did Tommy Burns not say he wanted 'Andy Goram broke my heart' on his headstone.
Suprised it's close, I thought Goram would be a clear winner followed by Woods, then Klos and McGregor a long way behind that IMO

Goram hands down, best I've ever seen for us.

Sure I read this morning that the rules for Club World Championship are being changed and only coefficient points secured in CL will count. If true, that would effectively rule us out
Saw this and sure we are in position to qualify but the gap is closing. Last night's result should help a bit though.
UEFA have 12 slots for the Club World Cup which will be hosted by the USA in June 2025. Champions League winners from 2021 to 2024 automatically qualify for the competition, while the other teams are determined by a club ranking over a four-year period.1 day ago

Was it saying something last night about the gap for the Club World Champs closing and that the Prague teams are on 14 points while we were on 7. Sure I caught something like that.

I must have watched a different game, I thought he did ok and has done recently. I can't see your mind ever being changed though.

Thought there were some great performances from quite a few, Danilo, Jack, Davies probably spring to mind first but thought the whole team was phenomenal in the first half.
Between Jack and Danilo and think Danilo just gets it but does show the importance of a fully fit Jack.

Doesn't sound like it's being treated as trivial, though does say some of the songs may have been unwittingly sung?!

I thought the Luton Town fans gave a great account of themselves against the professional victims. 😀
Singing about the death of fans? Aye, ok then; if you find that acceptable from any support.

City are laughing.
Only one in the top 5 to win this weekend. Gutted.
F****n Luton, was raging at that result long before I heard about the fans singing.
Manu U very lucky and really not a good watch at all.
Glad Arsenal got beat Spursv Chelsea was a great watch.
Hopefully they all take points from each other so there may still be a few teams in it with a few weeks to go just for the excitement.
Anyone finishing above City, if they can, likely to win the league.

It was surprising to read that we havent won this cup for 12 years when for me growing up it was the cup we seemed to stroll every year and in the 90s it probably had a bit more affiliation to it than the Scottish Cup.
True, I remember a time when the only thing we won was the Skol/League Cup and the old Tenants 6's
