  1. Graeme Smith was outstanding for Peterhead today. If it wasn't for him we could probably have hammered them 7 or 8 nil. He didn't make it at Ibrox because we had 2 better 'keepers on the books, but seriously, what a performance that was from the guy today, so credit where it's due.

I thought our performance was very good and it was on a shocking pitch which didn't suit our passing game at all, but the players dealt with it really well.

The ref' was poor and injuries ahead of next week were a real worry, but fingers crossed that Wallace, Forrester and the rest of the lads are ok.

  2. Didn't he send off Wilson and Thomson at Hampden in the League Cup final against St Mirren?

He sure did. It was the 2010 League Cup final. He also yellow carded a few other Gers players that day and didn't book a single St.Mirren player, which I think someone mentioned on another thread recently. It was a sweet 9 man victory though!

  3. We've certainly got a vitally important few weeks ahead of us, but I think we should know that celebrating victories before they've been won is premature.

As Mark Warburton says, "we're in a good place" and I'm quietly confident that he's right about that. He normally is.

  4. He is. That doesn't mean he wasn't valuable to us. He made the faults when we beat them at xmas. It was of course not orchestrated the statement was tongue in cheek.

I knew it was tongue in cheek pete, but I wasn't sure that you knew he was a Hibs fan.

It's all good mate, at least we've inadvertently provided 'clarification'. :seal:

  5. It was an unfortunate result last night, but it was a great game of football and the result is what it is. It was the first defeat/loss in our last 16 games.

We're still the in-form team by a country mile though. We've won 8 of our last 10 league games, drawn 1 and lost one.

Falkirk have only won 4 of their last 10 league games, drawn 5 and lost 1.

Like Falkirk, Hibs have also only won 4 of their last 10 league games, but they've drawn 2 and lost the last 4 on the trot.
