Souness and Big Dunc were undoubtedly hard bastards, but Harold Davis fought in the Korean War and that'll do for me.

Sone Aluko anyone?

I'd almost forgotten Dundee Utd existed to be honest.

Chris Sutton he knows everything about Rangers he is always telling us what we are doing wrong and were we are going wrong .
Good shout. He's got a good managerial pedigree - just look at how Lincoln have fallen apart since his departure.

Good luck to him.
Where's Sir Davie these days?

I'm not advocating that Barry Ferguson should get this position because I would rather see either of the other two you mentioned get it but I don't think we can judge Ferguson on his behaviour all those years ago when still a young boy. I know i'm an entirely different person now than I was as long ago as that and I expect most if not all people are the same in that respect. On both a personal level and regarding views of how the game should be played.
Too true, I'd kick the 25 year old Norris in the gonads.

McCann, Miller, Ferguson. All great shouts IMO and I'd be delighted with either.

In what way then Norris ? I dare to ask.
In that after one look at his CV, I had no idea why he'd be offered the Rangers job if not because the other options were too expensive.

Is this a cheap option?,I know all the Rangers haters/media will think that way, serious question
He reeks of our Deila.

I don't know much about Gordon other than that he despises the Rangers, but Stuart Cosgrove has long struck me as a deeply unhappy sort, wakes up bitter, goes to sleep bitter. At something, anything. The sort of character who was probably something of a loner as a young man.

Kiernen is good in every game. In some games he is excellent. The problem is that in almost every game he switches off and has stupid time. Then he looks like a fish out water.
Which is, naturally, contradictory. A player who switches off with his frequency is by definition NOT a good player. I'm pleased he's suspended for Parkhead.

Ally McCoist has made an absolute mint out of Rangers, I find it hard to understand there being a financial motive in his appearances in the press.

I haven't had access to the Scottish media in a couple of weeks, and am thoroughly unsurprised to come back to wave after wave of non-story upon non-headline.
They are really struggling, even by their standards.

I've been offline for a couple of weeks so haven't trawled through the thread, but I can't be alone in finding this Portuguese chap's CV thoroughly uninspiring. I get the whole 'give him a chance' thing, but I simply can't see what he has done to merit getting the Rangers job. Surely if we're considering candidates like Rowett, we have to at least go with the British option. What's wrong with the likes of Michael Appleton?
I can just see Caixinha not getting the club or Scottish football at all, and leaving with his tail between his legs after a year and no progress.

How Parkhead continues to get a safety certificate is beyond me.

Oxford wasnt too friendly either.
Manor Ground or the Kassam?
I'll admit to having a twitchy arse in the home end (Shed) at Tannadice when we won the league in 09.
Seen some raucous stuff up at Pittodrie but was in with the Bears so never particularly bothered about my own safety.

The man is a machine; it's not natural.
I'd be asking for a urine sample from the wee freak.

He looks like a school kid but, well, he's just sensational. He could pick his club and salary just now. Leicester simply fell apart without him, and Chelsea went the other way.

Where between Alan Stubbs and Robbie Savage does Jose Mourinho go?

I'm just awaiting some crippling strike to complete the deja vu factor.

I'm only surprised Peter Grant and Paul McStay aren't on that list.

And here's me thinking I'd toned it down
