We can surely get a crap defender that doesnt love celtc so much.
True that. At least Foster was one of us. The devastation amongst Dolly when he came out as a lifelong Bear was rather amusing, if not on the McLeish scale.

Considine is a strange one. 29 and only played for Aberdeen, that's all I know about him. No Scotland caps. I guess the gaffer perhaps sees something in him.

He most certainly is.....
The poor bastard, can we set up a Just Giving page, have a candlelit vigil etc.

Mr King is a poker player. I'm sure he has plans afoot for both Rangers and Scottish football.
Might be worthwhile elaborating on that.

Whittaker and Naismith on the scoresheet for Norwich today in their 2-2 draw v Southampton.

And Hemmings scores. 3-1 the Yellows.

Gribz, your first post in this thread was suspiciously detailed, are you a West Ham man?

'Kin yas, Oxford go 2-1 up minutes from time. Kane Hemmings now on for the U's.

Dave King is astute enough to understand that he will be judged a success or failure solely on whether he can catch Celtic. Nothing has been achieved yet, or at least not for those such as myself who have never before gone six years without celebrating a major trophy with Rangers. He still has a grace period, but Rangers are one of those elite band of clubs whom, sooner or later, demand silverware.

I didn't see any of it but judging from the stats it's difficult to say how good or otherwise they were . Shots on target 3 and got 3 goals? I still foresee them stumbling and possibly allowing Utd back into it. After a poor start Utd then became the form team only slipping up in their last two against third from bottom Dumbarton and now Hibs. Utd will rediscover their form and are far from out of it.
I think whoever makes the play offs are in for a tough time from both the Championship contenders and the second bottom SPL side. As it stands right now they would have to overcome Hamilton and that could be a very tough nut to crack.
There does seem to be a bit of a gap between the bottom end of the SPL and top end of the Championship. I think Kilmarnock proved that against Falkirk last season.

Every Rangers story in the papers is a negative report about people leaving and every Celtic report is about players coming in and being worth millions and millions.
You know, I'm still waiting for the 20 million bid for Scott Brown.
Or the 10 million bid for Scott Brown.
Or any bid for Scott Brown.

As much as I don't like these two following recent events the top flight would be more attractive with them both in it. Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd have always been the 6 household names in the Scottish game.
Dundee United have done a good job of cultivating this myth. They are Dundee's second team in every respect.

Wait, McGregor has lost his place to Marshall? As in David Marshall? What the f*ck is going on there?

Spoke to a friend last week who lives in London. He went to the 'London Stadium' for a game recently, he said "It's just not sustainable as a football stadium. You can hardly see a thing." I get what West Ham are trying to do, i.e. move up a level and become one of London's 'big teams', but I'm not sure this new stadium is the answer.

Was inevitable. Foderingham is our most improved player this season.

Never mind that nonsense, England's finest are away to Rotherham tomorrow, duly decimated by a half-season of Alan Stubbs. Up the U's!

It will be money well spent. The guy looks a class act.
Hope so. I'd sack his Youtube editor though

I'm not a fan, but it's for purely selfish reasons. Thankfully I'm also a rugby man so have enough sport to keep me occupied, but I remember finding it tough when they trialled the winter break in the late 90s. Poring over the match report in the paper of a 2-2 friendly draw v Atletico Mineiro like a junkie short on cash.

Like Churchill, I'd say you're being overly generous towards the French.

I've heard he's a bit of a bell-end - someone who will change the narrative to suit either results or development...
Apparently when he was at Dundee Utd if they were winning it was a "results-driven business" yet if his teams were losing it was "all about development".
I've heard that he is a good coach but a bit of an odd-ball.
I guess time will tell whether he can make the step up from being in the background to being the main man.
I admit to getting a whiff of the autistic spectrum from him.

The dullest was when the two teams had qualified and just passed the ball around for 90 minutes.
Was it Germany and Austria or Switzerland. That game made them play all the final games at the same time.
West Germany and Austria, I believe that match was dubbed the 'Anschluss'

Nope. Dullest was England.
That was a jest. Dullest was West Germany when they robbed Hungary.
Nae bother Granddad

Spain played 4-6-0 when they won the World Cup (maybe the second Euros?). The difference was that they had a philosophy and way of playing attacking football, while Levein played it to defend. Pointless.
I hated the Spain team that won the World Cup. The dullest World Cup winning side in history.

Murder to watch. I actually smiled when De Jong went through Alonso in the final, it's what I'd wanted to do to Spain the whole tournament.

Also, what do you do with your 4-6-0 when you inevitably concede? Six years ago and I'm still none the wiser. Looking back, I think that was the moment the country lost any remaining faith in him, and which was basically the end of him.

Good work. Take it easy on the booze and burdz and make a name for yourselves with the greatest club in the land.
