  1. My report on tonight's game https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2017/09/26/second-half-collapse/ All players who played with the exception of Ryan Hardie (U21) and Danny Finlayson (U17) were either U18 or U19.
  2. Nathan Patterson - Now U17 and one of the players on Scotland duty - not the biggest and still to develop physically - good player and 17's captain this season.
  3. Haven't seen below 15's so far this season, 15's are a good footballing side, they are a small side usually at a physical disadvantage. they can be very good or on occasions out muscled. They have signed a couple bigger players this season and others are progessing physically. There go to Sweden for a tournament next month where it is likely they will be supplemented with three regular visitors from Northern Ireland. Haven't seen this season's 14's, they were good last season but lost whenever they played Celtic. Beat Celtic at Youdan Tournament pre-season results since have been mixed. Only seen this season's 13's once last season so I don't really know them as yet.

  5. I would have done a report but they wouldn't let us in
  6. Both teams were of a similar age, one of the parents said the Brighton team was U18 - 6 of their team was U18 in English terms, 2 of them would be classed as U19 in Scotland. the other players used were a year older and two U20's. Rangers also fielded 6 U18 players in the staring lineup, as were two of the subs, the others were U19 but included an U21 in Ryan Hardie. I very much doubt any of their players were regulars in their under 23 side as they played and lost 5-1 to WBA on Monday. Only three of last night's team were involved, Max Sanders and David Ajiboye came on as subs, Issac Hutchinson played the whole game and came on as a sub against Rangers. The majority of the Brighton team played against Chelsea U18's in February a game they lost 13-0.

  15. He was 20 in March, so in football terms he is under 21. Hardie will be one of the overage players, I think Bates, if fit, is likely to be the other

  22. Finished 3rd, beating Club NI 15's on penalties after a 2-2 draw
  23. They looked a good side, although I saw them against possibly the weakest team there. On the basis of that game I thought they would beat us, seems Rangers missed chances and obviously were down to ten men. The GPS Bayern captain is coming to Rangers next week, scottish parent apparently. Two of the young Club NI side went to Sardinia with Rangers 2003's a couple of months ago.
