I don't want Hearts to go under. Yes, I know the background, but, I know how I felt at times over the past year. I would wish that an almost no one as it was horrible. there are other clubs who are carry a bigger guilt than Hearts and you all know who they are.

Just seen the Record front page on twitter and they have this guy as looking to invest in Rangers. I had never heard of him so I googled his name. A very, very intelligent guy by all accounts. A trader for Goldman Sachs, he won't be short of a shilling or two. The question is whether or not he is a long term investor or a trader looking for a quick profit. It may also be another piece of smoke and mirrors from the Record.

This is an excellent thread on this forum. It has stayed on topic and has not degenerated into abuse . Arguments have been discussed in a mature and reasonable manner. This is why I like this forum, well done to all.

Listened to his interview. I thought he made a very good point when he talked a club who put a real effort into avoiding relegation and had some success at the half way point . Players had stood up to play, some injured, some suspended and yet despite their efforts the fix came in. Like a dodgy car the milometer was reset to zero and they lost all that their efforts had gained in the first half of the season. It's not fair.

It needed saying however. Any league is won over a season not in the remaining games after an artificial split when points totals are reset to zero. The top team loses all the benefit of a good start to the season, this is simply not fair and I don't care which team is top at at proposed split. It is not fair.

I note that he is still talking about the five way agreement. Is this the "agreement" that the SFL refused to accept?

I think Speirs body language said it all, he was closed, obviously defensive, practically squirming at points. All this in the face of no obvious aggression merely a couple of guys who smiled pityingly at him. Any neutral or uninformed observer could easily tell he was on the back foot and did not like it one bit.

Some people are going to be very, very upset by this and somehow that gives me a warm glow.
