  1. I'll be picky, I can already say half of it....The 'no goals' is a myth as we are getting plenty :giruy:

You mean Boyd didn't get more than plenty ?, whats that egg on your coupon.... eggface.jpg:giruy:

  2. The only thing that Boyd is proving now is we are a better team without him (and the others who left) and the saying "No Boyd = No goals = No title" was a myth.

You will be able to say that and make sense..........after we win more trophies with this team than we did when he was here. Until then your contribution is mere speculation. :giruy:

  3. Some really need to catch on, Boyd owes us and owed us fuk all, £400,000 we got the bargain, the treatment and vitriol aimed his way makes me wonder about some fuds allegiances at times, he may have to prove himself all over again down south, but up here the alltime SPL hitman has fuk all to prove..........to anyone. :(

  4. I agree this proves the ref saw it but i don't agree it proves it was a penalty. Broadfoot could have hit Majstorovic.

If that penalty had been given against Rangers i would have been fuming as well. I will say Majstorovic did make himself large though so i suppose he was inviting a dive.

Whither it is or was a penalty is immaterial, the only person who matters is the guy who gives the decision the ref.

He clearly saw the incident, he decided, we benefited from his decision.

If you really want to see a bad penalty decision have a look at last nights Sevilla v Bilboa game, I really don't believe I have seen a worse decision in a long long time, even the commentators stated that.

  5. It was a dive in my eyes and even if it wasn't a dive there wasn't enough in it to give a penalty. As Juffery says Samaras should have been booked for the lunge tackle in the first half( can't remember on who) and the wild kick at the back of Naismiths legs should have been a straight red. If anyone wants an impartial view on it even the Dutch commentator couldn't believe it was only yellow and not red.

Just for the info i hate people calling Loovens Loo vens it is in fact pronounced Low vens. Just call him a prick that is even better.:)

    Penalty !!!!............ http://willievass.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/241010-Celtic-v-Rangers/G0000APntnfTRbk8/I00001.MWlwvLqUE

ETA. for those under the mistaken impression that the ref never saw the "incident".

  6. Good bad or not as good is the fulcrum, for my part I do not believe that foreign teams are as good or super good as the media would have us believe, I backed my judgement with hard cash at the start of the CL, as some of you may remember. Our league while not the greatest still plays to the same rules as any other league, at the end of the day it is 11 on the field against 11, if we don't let the opposition play they don't play, but sometimes shit happens and sometimes it is all roses, rocket science it aint.

  7. I think you are actually missing the point and/or turning it on its head. 26th is saying it from a "catholic church boot them out" perspective- not from a "freemasons wont accept them" perspective.

Freemasonry hasnt ever turned Catholics away - the Catholic church will ex-communicate them if they join the freemasons.

Even in our small lodge we have a PM who was basically disowned by the Catholic church because he was a freemason.

    See above.

  8. Rangers appeal upheld

UEFA's Appeals Body has today partially upheld the appeal made against the Control and Disciplinary Body's decision concerning Scottish club Rangers FC and their UEFA Champions League first knockout round tie against Villarreal CF.

    Rangers fined

UEFA appealed against the decision on 12 April by the Control and Disciplinary Body to find Rangers not guilty of alleged discriminatory chants by the club's supporters at both legs of the tie, on 22 February at Ibrox and 7 March at El Madrigal. Rangers have been fined €19,500 and severely warned about their responsibility for any future misconduct by their fans in relation to sectarian and discriminatory behaviour.

    Future directives

In addition, the Appeals Body will combine the disciplinary measures with directives safeguarding the correct execution of the judgement. The directives themselves will be communicated to Rangers along with the full written grounds for the disciplinary decision.

  9. Reasons for Rangers decision

UEFA has issued the reasoning behind its disciplinary decision against Scottish club Rangers FC, announced yesterday.

    Fined for incidents

The European body fined Rangers FC €13,000 for incidents at their UEFA Champions League first knockout round tie against Spanish outfit Villarreal CF last month.

    Crowd disturbances

UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body imposed the fine on Rangers following the improper conduct of some of their supporters, notably the smashing of a window of the Villarreal team bus at the second-leg match in Spain on 7 March.

    Not guilty

The body declared the Rangers fans not guilty of alleged discriminatory chants at both legs of the tie, which Villarreal won on the away-goals rule after the two sides had finished 3-3 on aggregate. The body’s decision can be appealed against within three days.

    Social problem

In examining the alleged discriminatory chants, the Control & Disciplinary Body admitted that the nature of the song concerned – “Billy Boys” - related to a social problem in Scotland. The body also believed that the disciplinary decision in this case had to be taken in the context of Scotland’s social and historical background.

    Studied evidence

After studying the evidence at hand as well as the statement of Rangers FC, the Control & Disciplinary Body conceded that supporters have been singing the song "Billy Boys" for years during national and international matches without either the Scottish football or governmental authorities being able to intervene. The result is that this song is now somehow tolerated.

    Social and historical context

Given this social and historical context, the Control & Disciplinary Body said it considered that UEFA cannot demand an end to behaviour which has been tolerated for years. In view of the above, the Control & Disciplinary Body ruled that, despite the behaviour of its supporters, Rangers FC had not infringed Article 5 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (click here) and cannot be punished according to Article 6.

An how more demanding does a gemme last 4 hours or something noo, or is it still two halfs of 45 min......

  11. As regards personal insults, nothing I haven't said to slim himself.

My problem is he makes money off the back of Rangers Supporters but always, with the help of his seven dwarfs, makes it out to be a fans 'thing' not an actual work related/profit scheme.

His integrity has been called into question on numerous occasions over the years, but he always seems to carry

on regardless, don't get me wrong I have seen the fear in his eyes when a certain 'journalist' ripped him to shreds and threatened him with legal action, but then again that would be telling wouldn't it.

NO it wouldn't be telling, it is making an unsubstantiated statement on a message board, which is what you have done, standard practise for the whole sorry affair.
